Medexs also provides individual components for your space. These include walls and ceiling systems, return grids, ceiling exhaust units fitted with HEPA filters, (safe-change) duct filter enclosures, fan filter units, and HEPA filters.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

Duct filter enclosure<\/h4>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

Duct Filter Enclosures are used in air ducts to filter the air supply or exhaust of classified areas such as laboratories, operating theaters, or pharmaceutical production rooms.\r\n \r\nA KF unit consists of a filter housing, flanges, and a HEPA filter. The housing is made of sheet metal, airtight welded according to DIN 1946, and finished in RAL 9010. Additionally, the housing features two pressure gauge connections for monitoring pressure drop.\r\n \r\nThe Bag-in, Bag-out design is specifically developed for filtering exhaust air from processes involving hazardous or toxic substances, allowing for safe and contactless filter replacement.<\/p>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

HEPA filter units<\/h4>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

HEPA filter units are installed in areas that require clean air and can be used for both air supply and extraction. HEPA ceiling diffusers consist of a filter enclosure, a diffuser type (swirl, nozzle, perforated) and the HEPA filter. <\/p>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

Return grids with and without filter<\/h4>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

The diffuser grids are designed for wall mounting in areas with special requirements (ORs, cleanrooms) and are made of polished stainless sheet steel. The grid surface consists of a frame with tightly woven stainless mesh soldered on. The mounting frame accommodates either a filter (RR-1\/filter) or a stainless-steel insert F (RR- 1\/F). <\/p>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

Plenum<\/h4>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

At Medexs, we develop and build our plenums entirely in-house. From smart standard solutions to fully custom work: we design, produce, supply, and install air supply systems that meet the highest requirements regarding air purity (Class 1+).<\/p>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

Crossflow<\/h4>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

A horizontal plenum (or simply crossflow) is a horizontal air supply system (recessed or surface-mounted wall system) for use in a preparation room. Clean HEPA-filtered air is blown out of the system. For the crossflow system, the instruments must be unpacked within the airflow.<\/p>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

Opragon<\/h4>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

Medexs is the exclusive partner of Avidicare in the Netherlands and is responsible for the design and realization of operating rooms with Opragon technology. This is a temperature-controlled ventilation system specifically designed for operating rooms where infection-sensitive procedures may take place. <\/p>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

The Halton Vita OR Space is an innovative air supply system that ensures ultra-clean air throughout the entire operating room \u2013 not just around the operating table. This offers maximum freedom of movement and flexibility in the layout.\r\nThe system automatically adjusts the air supply based on the number of people present, ensuring the correct air quality is always guaranteed.\r\n<\/p>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

Walls and ceiling system<\/h4>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

The walls of operating rooms and preparation areas are finished with solid core walls. The Medexs ceiling system is suitable for spaces where increased hygiene requirements are expected. Examples include operating rooms, preparation areas, sterile storage rooms, cleanrooms, and the like.<\/p>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

Recirculation Shafts (RCS) <\/h4>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

Recirculation Shafts (RCS) are used as part of the air handling system in operating theaters. They are designed to recirculate and treat a portion of the air volume of the room.\r\n\r\nFrom the air intake side, the RCS module is equipped with a louvered grille, followed by a coarse filter, sound attenuators, a cooling coil, and a fan. The module features its own integrated control system.\r\n\r\nThe RCS is constructed from 10mm HPL in standard white (other colors available upon request). The shaft is equipped with a dedicated maintenance switch (on\/off) and a service hatch.<\/p>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t
