Recently, the temporary building for the Central Sterilization Department (CSSD) and the sterile warehouse at Deventer Hospital, the Netherlands, was completed at an impressive pace. This essential interim solution allows the hospital to thoroughly overhaul its own CSSD, which is being expanded and all its equipment replaced. Medexs played a crucial role in the rapid and flexible implementation of this modular facility, which is essential for the continuity of care, especially given the hospital’s high volume.

In just two days, 15 modules for the CSSD and 10 modules for the sterile warehouse, totaling over 500 m², were fully installed. The modules were delivered fully equipped from the factory, including autoclaves, thermal disinfectors, and a cart washing system from Wassenburg Medical.
