On Monday 13 June, construction began on the new laboratory in Elst to merge the laboratories of Rijnstate, Hospital Gelderse Vallei (ZGV) and Canisius Wilhelmina Hospital (CWZ) for medical microbiology and immunology, clinical chemistry and clinical pharmacy. The new laboratory organisation is called Dicoon.
