Medexs solid core wall system for Operating Rooms, Laboratories and cleanrooms
The walls of the operating rooms and prep rooms are finished with solid core walls. This solid core wall is attached to the metal stud walls using our adhesive system or the hook slat system. The sheets are applied with a 5 mm seam. The sheets are applied from a base height of 100 mm and up to 100 mm above the ceiling. The solid core boards are sealed using a special cleanroom silicone sealant.
Medexs’ modular ceiling system (MDX40)
The Medexs ceiling system is suitable for spaces where an increased hygienic requirement is expected. This includes operating rooms, prep rooms, sterile storage rooms, cleanrooms and the like.
Our suspended ceiling system is constructed from extruded aluminium profiles, which are coated in RAL 9016. Cross anchors are used to interconnect the profiles. The set forms a self-supporting, dust-proof, rigid ceiling grid. The ceiling grid has a grid size of 600 x 600 mm or 600 x 1200 mm.
