RotterdamIn a hybrid OR, a patient can be scanned during surgery. This specialised space significantly reduces the rehabilitation period for patients. At the same time, all movements remain in the same environment because a hybrid OR is linked to an existing OR.
The entire operating room was almost completely set up at the factory in Montfoort. Then it was transported to the care location in separate parts. The hybrid operating room was then connected to the existing OR on site. The tight timeline and high quality is characteristic of how Medexs works. We can improve care only by working together, and that makes working on projects like this immensely inspiring.
