BeverwijkIn November 2024, the Red Cross Hospital (RKZ) in Beverwijk officially put the brand new hotfloor into use. The new RKZ building is located at the front of the existing building from the 1970s, and immediately catches the eye with a new, high entrance door. The new building section of over 5,000 m2 provides a hotfloor and is the beating heart of the renovated RKZ: with, among other things, the emergency department, an emergency square with ambulance entrance, a GP post, operating center with recovery room and complete radiology and acute admission departments. The new entrance connects the new departments and the existing entrance hall.
